Description
Sal Buscema and Vince Colletta The Defenders #20 Page 17 Original Art (Marvel Comics, 1975). Dr. Strange, Thing, and Nighthawk search for Valkyrie... but they are not the only ones. Writer Steve Englehart and artist Sal Buscema put Valkyrie's essence into a mortal woman, Barbara Norriss in The Defenders #4, and had the character join the group as a longtime member. Buscema layouts and Colletta finishes. Created in ink over graphite and blue pencil on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". The page is lightly toned, has marginal smudging and tape residue, whiteout corrections, and edge wear. Also included is an ungraded copy of the comic.
