Description
Mickey Mouse and Pluto Color Model Cel Setup (Walt Disney, 1930s). Rare hand-inked and hand-painted early Walt Disney Studio Color Model nitrate cels of Pluto and Mickey in black-and-white. Pluto is 3.5" and is on a 8" x 9" trimmed nitrate cel This is one of the earliest Pluto cels we have seen, and it is very similar looking to Moose Hunt (1931). Pluto is missing tiny spot of paint on one ear and the collar has some scuffing. Mickey is on a separate nitrate cel and is a great 3.5" full-figure image, with paint loss throughout. Both have pinholes in the corners and extra holes added, possibly for storage in a reference binder. This is a rare and historic setup. In Good condition.Auction Info
