Description

Skip Williamson Sketch/Scrapbook (c. 1990s). Massive 8.5" x 11" hardcover sketchbook from the late great Skip Williamson (1944-2017), filled with rough designs, concept art, full-blown comic strips, and pasted-in pieces, most (approximately 85%) of which are original art, but also including some color pages and photocopies of published work from the period. Art is in ink, pencil, and watercolor; pages are unnumbered, but total over 200, with over 180 pieces of original art. The covers feature an amazing collage of color prints, many taken for Playboy where Skip worked for many years. Fascinating! Good to Very Good condition. From the Eric Sack Collection.
