Description

Dave Sim and Gerhard Cerebus #293 Story Page 7 Original Art (Aardvark-Vanaheim, 2003). Closely echoing the cover, this page captures an aging, disoriented Cerebus puttering around his room -- muttering, rambling, and slipping between inner thoughts and outer confusion. A powerful example of Dave Sim's psychological storytelling, it underscores the character's isolation and mental decline in his twilight years, as "Latter Days" builds toward the landmark 300th issue. Ink over graphite on illustration board with an image area of 10" x 15". Slight toning, smudging, whiteout corrections, stat text paste-up in Panel 1, ink testing marks, and minor corner/handling wear. Signed by Sim and Gerhard in the top margin. In Excellent condition.
