Description

Marie Severin (attributed) - MMMS Doctor Strange Poster Original Art (Super Heroes Club, 1966). The Master of the Mystic Arts was one of the eight characters featured on the Merry Marvel Marching Society posters first offered in 1966, and advertised in Marvel's comics that year. This original piece is created in ink over graphite on illustration board. The good Doctor stands an impressive 18" tall. There are also four layers of Rubylith/acetate sheets used for the CMYK printing process, and some onionskin production pages. Strange has whiteout art corrections around his shoulders, one leg is original art on a paper paste-up over the previous version, and the right side of his cape has been altered the same way. The board is tanned, with production tape residue. In Very Good condition.
