Elongated Man, Max Lord, Blue Beetle, Booster Gold, L-Ron, and Fire recoil, their fears palpable as a shadowy figure approaches. Guy Gardner's off-panel quip, "You were expecting Ambush Bug?", brilliantly juxtaposes humor with impending tension. Crafted in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10.25" x 15.75". Recreated stats of the original paste-ups on an acetate overlay.
