Description

Chester Gould Dick Tracy Daily Comic Strip Original Art dated 2-12-44 (Tribune, 1944). From the most famous of all Dick Tracy stories -- the WWII-era case of Flattop, the hired assassin. While Tracy investigates a slim lead, Flattop stashes a cache of loot in a safe place -- or so he believes. Gould is working here at a peak of audacious confidence and storytelling energy.
