George Gross Best True Fact Detective May-1950 Cover Painting Original Art (Newsbook, 1950). This bondage cover features rich and vibrant colors in a pin-up style. Lurid covers of this type drove the pulp crime story industry. Created in gouache on illustration board. Signed in the lower left of the 13" x 16.25" image area. The board is toned, and there is a musty odor. In Good condition.From the Roger Hill Collection.
