Description

John Romita Sr. Marvel Team-Up #29 Human Torch and Iron Man Cover Original Art (Marvel, 1975). When Marvel Team-Up launched, Spider-Man was generous enough to share the spotlight, letting his pal the Human Torch take the lead now and then before becoming permanent host. Now the Torch is burning hotter than ever following his appearance in the MCU's latest hit, The Fantastic Four: First Steps. In this fiery early issue, it's Hothead meets Shellhead, as Johnny Storm teams up with Iron Man to battle the resurrected menace known as Infinitus. Created in ink on sections of vellum, affixed to Bristol board with an overall image area of 10" x 15". The sides and bottom edges of the image area border were originally spliced, with a second board containing the inked vellum art inserted between. Toning, glue residue staining, smudging, marginal abrasions, whiteout corrections, production tape, stat masthead, logos, and trade dressing paste-ups, marginal staple holes, chipped corner, and handling wear. The piece exhibits signs of restoration, including surface cleaning, some warping from the cleaning process, and sealing on the reverse side. Presents in Very Good condition.
