Description
Marie Severin and Mike Esposito (as Joe Gaudioso) Sub-Mariner #18 Splash Page 1 Original Art (Marvel, 1969). In this Marvel masterwork, Namor finds himself weakened and a prisoner of Dynorr the Stalker. With the release of the highly anticipated Black Panther: Wakanda Forever movie, the Sub-Mariner finally enters the MCU, and we suspect his already popular standing will continue to increase. Interesting tidbit -- Triton, who guest-stars in this issue, made his live-action debut before Namor in the 2017 television series Inhumans, portrayed by Mike Moh. Ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". Light toning, top right corner is clipped, the top title bar and indicia are stat paste-ups, marginal tape, and small spots of soiling.
