When Marvel was able to start publishing more comics in 1968, they finally gave a solo series to a character who dated back to the first comic they ever published! The origin of the Sub-Mariner was retold in a story continued from Iron Man and Sub-Mariner #1. John Buscema provided both the cover and interior art for the book.
