Description

Arthur Peddy (with Irwin Hasen) and Bernard Sachs All-Star Comics #49 Cover Original Art (DC, 1949). Three of the big stars from All-Star (and also Comic Cavalcade) are cover-featured on this twice-up scale Golden Age great! Irwin Hasen says that he handled the pencil work on the Wonder Woman figure, with Peddy penciling the rest of the cover, and Bernard Sachs inking it. The image area measures 13" x 18.5". The logo is an original stat paste-up. The other seven trade dressing paste-ups are modern-day re-creations affixed directly to the board. The board itself has been mounted onto a bright white 16.5" x 23" illustration board. Toned, with graphite smudges. In Very Good condition.
From the Keif Fromm Estate.
