Description

Vaughn Bodé Cheech Wizard Preliminary Original Artwork (Bodé Pictography, 1972). Impeccable draftsmanship in this foundation art for an episode of the long-running Cheech Wizard feature and Bodé's kindred comics, which crossed the boundaries between the true Underground Comix movement and such more overtly commercial publications as Cavalier and National Lampoon. Graphite on Bristol board, with an image area of 14" x 10". Faint toning, otherwise, in Excellent condition. From the Eric Sack Collection.
