Wally Wood Screw Magazine #498 "Pablo" Cover Original Art (Al Goldstein, 1978). This motorcyclist is really "driving" his cute lady friend home, in this outrageous cover illustration by the late great MADman, Wally Wood. The story is that he drew this originally for his good friend, artist/filmmaker Pablo Ferro; note the "Pablo" name on the gas tank! This "revved-up" art is in ink, marker, and whiteout on Craftint board, with an approximate image size of 14" x 12"; framed with glass for an overall size of 16.75" x 14.25". Pablo's arm is a paste-up original art piece affixed to the board. The artboard displays some toning and handling wear, and the ink/marker is slightly faded and/or discolored in some areas. Very Good condition.
