Description

Keith Pollard and Joe Rubinstein X-Factor #4 Splash Page 1 Original Art (Marvel, 1986). Beast delivers a decisive kick to Tower's jaw as the rest of the original X-Men-turned-X-Factor (Marvel Girl, Cyclops, Angel, and Iceman) race to his aide. From early in the mutant spinoff title's lengthy run, this issue is rendered by Marvel stalwarts Keith Pollard and Joe Rubinstein in ink and Zipatone over graphite on toned Bristol board with a 10" x 14" image area. Two original word balloon paste-ups are missing, replaced with photocopied duplicates (Jean Grey stating, "Keep at him, Beast!" We can't let him get away until he answers some questions!" and a civilian exclaiming, "Holy...this airport is swarming with muties!"). Beast's thought balloon is missing one paste-up bubble. Discolored stat logo and text paste-ups with excess residue staining, production-clipped margins/corners, whiteout corrections to the art/dialogue, and handling wear. In Good condition.
