Joe Quesada Wolverine: The Origin #3 Cover Original Art (Marvel, 2002). Rose holds a bloody James Howlett after the shocking events of the first two issues from the long-awaited series detailing the early years of Howlett, who would become the X-Man known as Wolverine. Heritage is offering five of the six covers in this sale, all drawn by Joe Quesada, including this evocative piece showing the aftermath of James popping his claws for the first time and killing his father's murderer. Graphite on Marvel cover stock Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15.25". Light horizontal crease and signed by Quesada in the lower right image area.
