Description
Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs Presentation Pan Cel Animation Art (Disney, 1937). This astounding original vintage cel features all Seven Dwarfs, Doc, Grumpy, Bashful, Sneezy, Happy, Dopey, and Sleepy. The background is hand-painted on paper, and the tree and fence art were also painted on paper and appear to have been mounted onto an acetate overlay. Matted and framed to a 20.25" x 10.25" image area. The figures are in exceptional condition, and aside from some buckling to the cel, the art is in Very Good condition.Note: This amazing piece appears to have been prepared during the original production of the film, perhaps using a cel that was not used in the final production. The art of the dwarfs appears to be on a single cel or several layers of long cels. Due to the fragile nature of the art, we have not removed the set-up from the frame for closer examination.
