Description

William Messner-Loebs Journey #1 Complete 15-Page Story "Chapter One: Chase" Original Art (Aardvark-Vanaheim, 1983). William Messner-Loebs kicks off his series featuring frontiersman "Wolverine" MacAlistaire with a simple premise: while wandering around the backwoods of Michigan, our hero is chased by a bear. That's all it takes to build a fascinating, well-told tale, beautifully designed and drawn. The art is in ink, graphite, and Zipatone shading film on Bristol board, with an average image area of 10" x 15". Other than minor handling wear, the pages are all in Excellent condition.
