Al Williamson Star Wars Sunday Comic Strip Original Art dated 3-22-81 (LA Times Syndicate, 1981). After capturing Luke Skywalker and Princess Leia, bounty hunter Skorr sends Han Solo a message... his two prisoners for Solo, so he can collect on Jabba the Hutt's bounty for the wanted space pirate! This early Williamson Sunday from "The Bounty Hunter of Ord Mantell" storyline also features a great shot of Chewbacca, as Han makes plans to rescue his friends. Ink and screentone over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 22.5" x 15". Faint toning, pinholes in the panel corners, stat logo paste-up, tape registration marks in the side margins, discolored shading film, a fold crease between the first and second panel tiers, with light soiling and handling wear. In Very Good condition.
