Description

Mike Sekowsky and Bernard Sachs Justice League of America #30 JLA/JSA Team-up Splash Page 1 Original Art (DC, 1964). This page opened the second chapter of the second ever JLA/JSA team-up. This crossover introduced readers to Earth-3 and the Crime Syndicate of America. The splash page for this issue recapped the events of Issue #29 and featured original art floating heads of the members of the JLA, JSA, and CSA. The twice-up scale page was given to comics historian Jerry Bails by DC Editor-in-Chief Julius Schwartz, as noted in his personalization and signature below the image area:
"To Jerry Bails -- The number one JLA-JSA fan of all times! -- Julius Schwartz, Editor"
Created in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 13" x 17.5". The logo is a stat paste-up. The board is toned and in Very Good condition.
