Description
Ken Kelly Sea Venom Painting Original Art (1989). The world of Robert E. Howard's Hyborian hero, Conan, was inspired by the fantasy yarns of Rafael Sabatini and Talbot Mundy. Howard, the ill-fated author of the Conan series, tried his hand at sword and sorcery, pirate, and adventure stories for the pulps, and modern fantasy art master Ken Kelly is celebrated as a perfect choice to illustrate the adventures of the savage Cimmerian and his barbaric brethren. Howard created immortal, fan-favorite yarns with lost dead cities, devil-haunted caves, and weird revenge, and Kelly captures all of these classic sword and sorcery motifs with his uncanny talent for painting. This huge oil on masonite painting has been framed to an overall size of 32" x 42.5", and it's in Excellent condition.More information about Ken Kelly. See also: Kelly, Ken, C. W. Kelly, K. W.
