Description
George Herriman Krazy Kat Daily Comic Strip Original Art dated 7-11-36 (King Features Syndicate, 1936). The Ketnip Tea business seems to have stumbled into a bilyin dollar scheme! From the famed "Tiger Tea" story arc, this strip co-stars Mr. Meyowl, and features Mrs. Kwakk Wakk in a last-panel cameo. It is the third of three consecutive dailies we are offering in this auction. Individual examples from this story arc are hard to find, but a sequence of three consecutive dailies is all but unheard of! This single strip is produced in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 20" x 4.25". Slight tanning and handling wear, with a bit of discoloration in the top right corner.
