Frank Frazetta Elements Magazine #3 "Deina" Preliminary Original Art (Dow Chemical Co., 1973). One of the most obscure and rare Frazetta paintings we have ever heard of would be "Deina" from 1973. The finished piece was used as an interior illustration for a Dow Chemical industrial trade magazine. As such, many of his fans have never even seen it, or this original art prelim used to created it. The illustration accompanied a sci-fi prose story by Dick Dalton. This prelim was created in graphite and mixed media. Signed in the lower left corner of the matted 5" x 7.5" image area. Plexiglas-front framed to 13.5" x 16".
