Description
Rich Buckler and Al Milgrom The Defenders #81 Cover Original Art (Marvel, 1980). A high-stakes cover from Marvel's classic non-team of heroes! Deep in the heart of Tunnelworld, the Hulk hangs cruciform and grimacing at the mercy of the Ytitnedion, while Doctor Strange restrains a furious Sub-Mariner. All the while, lizard-faced captors jeer from the shadowed ranks behind them. Created in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". Signed by the artists in the image area, and signed again by Milgrom in the lower "check off box". The logo, corner box, and cover text are stat paste-ups.
