Matt Baker Journey into Fear #1 Story Page 1 Original Art (Superior, 1951). This issue was the first Canadian horror comic book. And what better way to kick it off than with storied by Matt Baker! This is the title page to "Was he Death-Proof?". Created in ink over graphite on Bristol board. The top edge has been trimmed to the main figures and an added portion at the top with the title and text caption boxes, for a total image area of 13" x 19.75". Toned, with whiteout art clean ups.
