Howard Chaykin Cody Starbuck Portfolio Illustration Original Art (S. Q. Productions, 1980). Rocket into adventure with Cody Starbuck, the morally ambivalent, free-wheeling anti-hero in a decadent, sexually explicit universe, who looks more than a little bit like Howard Chaykin himself. This acrylic on board portrait of the feared space pirate who roamed the pages of Star*Reach and Heavy Metal has an image area of 30" x 40", and the piece has been framed to an overall size of 42" x 42". Aside from some slight surface soiling here and there, the art is in Very Good condition. A copy of the portfolio, numbered #681/1000, is included with this lot.Auction Info
