Steve Ditko The Amazing Spider-Man #18 Story Page 2 Original Art (Marvel, 1964). We were simply stunned to see a page with this many characters -- it's almost every Spidey ally and the most significant enemies, all on one page! The epic first panel focuses on some of the web-slinger's most dangerous foes: Green Goblin, Dr. Octopus, Kraven the Hunter, and the Vulture; while the next powerhouse panel has the Fantastic Four, the Avengers, and Daredevil! The final panel even has a gloating J. Jonah Jameson, as everyone is reacting to Spidey's recent defeat at the hands of the Green Goblin. Early Spider-Man Ditko pages are nearly impossible to find, but this page, having all of these key characters from the beginning of the Marvel Universe, is a unicorn! Ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 12.5" x 18.5", professionally matted with mounting corners to 15.75" x 22.5". Slight toning, pinholes in the top margin and corners, small edges tears, abrasions in the first panel by Goblin's left leg and bottom margin, discolored text correction paste-up and residue staining from a missing "all" paste-up, with staining, creasing, and handling wear.
