Wizard of Oz, The (MGM, 1939). 1946 Release Italian 2 Fogli (39" X 55"). Based on Frank Baum's novel, this tale of fantasy with Judy Garland is considered one of the greatest films ever made. This Italian poster, which was first released in Italy after World War II in 1946, is one of the best posters ever created for this classic and is far superior to the posters from the first release in the U.S. One of two known copies to exist.
