Star Wars #1 35¢ Variant (Marvel, 1977) CGC FN+ 6.5 Off-white to white pages. The single most valuable Bronze Age comic in Overstreet's ranking is this price variant, and the copy offered here is one of the first two CGC-graded copies that Heritage has ever offered (the other is in this sale too!). Overstreet notes "limited distribution" and speculates that perhaps only 1,500 copies of this variant were printed. We saw a CGC 5.5 copy sell for $1,200 in another venue last year, and expect strong interest in this copy as well. Howard Chaykin cover and art.
