Showcase #4 The Flash - Savannah Pedigree (DC, 1956) CGC FN 6.0 Off-white pages. Considered by most to be the first Silver Age comic, this issue features the origin and first appearance of the Silver Age Flash (Barry Allen) and the first appearance of Iris West. Sporting a cover and art by Carmine Infantino and Joe Kubert, this kicked off the Silver Age superhero renaissance. We have only offered six pedigree copies to date of this high-speed key issue, currently the #5 book on Overstreet's list of Top 50 Silver Age Comics, and the most valuable Silver Age DC comic by far.
