Strange Tales #102 Twin Cities pedigree (Marvel, 1962) CGC NM- 9.2 White pages. This is the second Human Torch solo appearance and a book that you usually find in fairly rough shape -- how refreshing is it to see a 9.2? This is a pretty early Marvel superhero book, on the stands at the same time as Fantastic Four #8 and Hulk #4. The fact that horror/mystery yarns share cover billing with the Torch is another indicator of how early the book is. By the way, the Wizard made his first appearance here. Jack Kirby, Dick Ayers, and Steve Ditko cover art. Overstreet 2011 NM- 9.2 value = $975.
