Sub-Mariner Comics #13 Rockford pedigree (Timely, 1944) CGC VF/NM 9.0 Cream to off-white pages. The classic Japanese War/bondage/hooded cultists/skull cover by Alex Schomburg is a masterpiece of WWII anti-Axis sentiment, and the grade on this copy is also very impressive. In fact, only one copy tops this book on the current CGC census (the "D" copy), and this copy is tied with the Pennsylvania copy for second place. We expect to see approximately double the Guide value for this book, when it hits the auction block. Overstreet 2015 VF/NM 9.0 value = $3,210; NM- 9.2 value = $5,000.
