Startling Comics #1 Mile High Pedigree (Better Publications, 1940) CGC NM+ 9.6 White pages. There are Mile Highs and there are Mile Highs! This is the latter -- a NM+ White pages copy of the origin of Captain Future, Mystico, and Wonder Man. This near-perfect (and highest-graded) copy has the Masked Rider beginning a run, and it contains a drug use story. Kin Platt offered up the somewhat nonproportional cover image and art, and John Daly and Jack Lehti contributed interior art for the issue. Overstreet 2016 NM- 9.2 value = $5,800.
