Star Spangled Comics #7 (DC, 1942) CGC FN/VF 7.0 Off-white pages. Note how few copies of this one have been graded higher! It's the first appearance of Simon and Kirby's Newsboy Legion as well as their good-guy superhero pal the Guardian. Further shaking up this series (heretofore a Star-Spangled Kid vehicle) were the debuts of TNT and Dan the Dyna-Mite, as well as Robotman (not the Doom Patrol guy, but a character who enjoyed a long run in this series and later appeared in the All-Star Squadron). The cover art is by kinetic Kirby and sizzlin' Simon! Overstreet 2009 FN 6.0 value = $2,001; VF 8.0 value = $4,802. CGC census 6/09: 1 in 7.0, 4 higher.CGC Grader Notes:
