Description

Gil Kane and John Romita Sr. The Defenders #26 Cover Guardians of the Galaxy Original Art (Marvel, 1975). The Guardians of the Galaxy make their fourth appearance ever, guest-starring as the superhero team of Hulk, Doctor Strange, Valkyrie, and Nighthawk travels into the future. A dynamic Kane/Romita image featuring early Guardians members Martinex, Vance Astro, Charlie-27, and Yondu, rendered in ink over graphite on Marvel cover stock Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". Slight toning, stat logo, taped header, and text paste-ups, staple and pinholes in the corners, trimmed bottom edge, adhesive residue staining, whiteout corrections, with creasing/handling wear. In Very Good condition. Includes a British copy of the comic.
