Sal Buscema The Spectacular Spider-Man #145 Cover Original Art (Marvel, 1988). Spider-Man is in a tough spot -- "...And it Gets Worse!" Rarely do fans see the web-slinger rendered helpless on the cover of his own comic, yet this image tempts readers to open the comic to see what happens to our chained hero. We're not sure it'd be possible to find a larger, more impressive cover image of Spidey than this absolute classic from the era! Ink over blue pencil on Marvel cover stock Bristol board with an image area of 9.75" x 15". Stat header, logo, and discolored text paste-ups, whiteout touch-ups, small central spot of residue staining, with staple and pinholes in the margins.
