Roy G. Krenkel Tarzan and the Tarzan Twins Page 52 Illustration Original Art (Canaveral Press, 1963). "A Thunderous Sound." Dic and Dock jolt awake to the earth-shaking roar of Numa the lion, his fierce presence dominating this striking illustration by Krenkel. This piece appeared in the only Tarzan book Edgar Rice Burroughs wrote expressly for young readers, a tale of two look-alike cousins invited to Tarzan's African estate. Ink over graphite on art paper with an image area of 5" x 4.5". Slight toning, light smudging, and marginal production notes. In Excellent condition. Included is an original copy of the 1963 hardcover book with dustjacket.From the Howard Lowery Collection.
