Description

Batman #5 (DC, 1941) CGC VF- 7.5 White pages. A notable Bat-book featuring the debut of the greatest vehicle in comic book history: the Batmobile! Bruce Wayne's socialite love interest Linda Page also makes her first appearance, and the Joker shows up as well. The pulpy "scales of justice" cover is by Bob Kane, who somehow left the bat emblem off of Batman's chest, and the story art is by him and Jerry Robinson. Overstreet 2024 VF 8.0 value = $7,500. CGC census 1/26: 15 in 7.5, 33 higher.
