Description

George Herriman Krazy Kat Sunday Comic Strip Original Art dated 6-2-18 (King Features Syndicate, 1918). Joe Stork makes a cameo appearance in this wunnerfal Sunday that is chok fulla that jazzy lingo that makes this strip so fun. It is not uncommon that you need to read the dialog out-loud to git it to mek cents. Crafted in ink over graphite with blue pencil shading on Bristol board with an image area of 17" x 20". There are a couple of very light creases in the image area, and in the corners. There is a 1" rip on the right margin (not into the image area), and a very minor water stain in the left margin (not into the image area). Someone has added some presstype in the bottom margin that incorrectly gives a 11-5-17 date for this piece. In Very Good condition.
