Gene Colan and Dan Adkins Daredevil #42 Cover Original Art (Marvel, 1968). This cover was the very first appearance of The Jester! Daredevil finds out that... "Nobody Laughs At... The Jester!", which seems very counter-intuitive. But that yo-yo smack in the head is nothing to laugh about at all! Ow! Created in ink over graphite on Bristol board with a matted image area of 10" x 15". The logo and masthead are a printed replacement. It appears the original art was trimmed and affixed to another Bristol at the time of creation, as the seam can be seen in the published cover itself. Glass-front framed to 17" x 22".
