Description

John Byrne and Terry Austin The X-Men #130 Story Page 13 Dazzler Original Art (Marvel, 1980). From the first appearance of Dazzler! This is the second page in which we see the light-emanating mutant after her brilliant introduction two pages prior. As Scott and Jean watch the musical light show, Nightcrawler faces an armored Hellfire soldier outside of the disco. When soldiers bust into the venue, Cyclops and Phoenix are ready for action! Great page from a key issue created in ink and Conte over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". Slight toning, trimmed top left corner, tape abrasion on the top edge, marginal notes, blue pencil editorial marks and whiteout touch-ups, and page number paste-up at the bottom; otherwise, in Excellent condition.
