Description
"Acme on Trial" Wile E. Coyote with Bugs Bunny and Road Runner Limited Edition Cel Artist's Proof AP#4/5 (Warner Brothers/Clampett, 2002). Wile E. finally wises up and sues Acme for all the failed gimmicks he's purchased over the years in his many attempts to capture the Road Runner, in this clever Artist's Proof limited edition cel. It is based on an original drawing by director Darrell Van Citters and produced as an exclusive item for a California gallery. There were only five Artist's proofs plus a regular edition of only 40, making this one of the hardest Looney Tunes limited editions to find. And with Bugs Bunny as judge with his pal the Road Runner standing by, we don't expect things to go well for the perpetually hungry coyote! The cel is placed on a print background and matted with an approximate opening of 16" x 13" and framed using Plexiglas for an overall size of 25.5" x 22.25". A Clampett Studio Collections seal is in the lower right corner of the cel, and with a Clampett Certificate of Authenticity on the back of the frame. All frames are sold as-is.
