Description
Sleeping Beauty Fauna Animation Drawing Sequence of 3 (Walt Disney, 1959). "Fauna, you close the windows. Oh, block up every cranny." Featured in this lot is a fantastic 16 field 3-peghole sequence of three from Disney's 1959 classic Sleeping Beauty. The peacemaking fairy Fauna can be found at about 34:20 to 34:21 in the Woodcutter's Cottage after the fairies decide to use their magic to help prepare for Briar Rose's birthday celebration. They don't take any chances, closing all the windows and exits before taking out their wands. Two of the drawings in the sequence are rendered in graphite with color pencil while the other is only in graphite. Fauna ranges from 4.5'' x 6.5'' to 5.25'' x 7'' and is noted as 51, 54, and 61 in the bottom right. The pages have light age-related toning with minor edge and handling wear with superficial wrinkles. This wonderful piece is in Good to Very Good condition overall.Auction Info
