Description
SpongeBob SquarePants Patrick Star Production Cel (Nickelodeon, c. 1999-2001). Best friend of the titular SpongeBob, presented here is an outstanding original production cel featuring Patrick Star from Nickelodeon's smash hit SpongeBob SquarePants. This beloved series was one of the last Nicktoons to premiere in the 1990s, and the only one of the decade still airing with a total of 15 seasons and counting. Here's a fantastic image of Patrick from Season 1 which was the only season to be traditionally cel animated. A main character since the pilot episode, Patrick grew to enough popularity to even receive his own spin-off series The Patrick Star Show in 2021 with its fourth season airing new episodes as of March 2025. This cel featured the pink sea star hand-painted with hand-inked detail to half-figure measuring approximately 2.75" x 3.25" and nicely centered. The 12 field production cel is numbered in the lower right and has been paired with a print background for display purposes; a CoA is also included. With typical handling and edge wear including minor linework wear, overall this relaxed cel of Patrick is in Very Good condition.Auction Info
