Description
The Dognapper Mickey Mouse and Long-Billed Donald Duck Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, 1934). Mickey and Donald play the role of police officers in this 1934 short, rescuing Minnie's dog Fifi. This was Donald's third appearance with his long bill and his first time working with Mickey. It was also the first and only short that Clarence Nash (1904 - 1985) would voice the mouse. The 12 field 2-peghole animation drawing is rendered in graphite and can be found towards the beginning of the animation at about 1:16. Mickey and this long-billed Donald are revving up the motorcycle engine, ready to start the high-speed chase. The two figures measure around 4.5'' x 3.75'' combined and are labeled 181. They are displayed in a 11.5'' x 8.5'' mat window with a 20'' x 17'' frame. All frames are sold as-is. Photos are not representative of actual frame condition. Minor handling wear and light age-related toning. Superficial wrinkles with reinforced pegholes. Overall, it is in Very Good condition.Auction Info
