The Mail Pilot Mickey Mouse Animation Drawing Sequence of 3 (Walt Disney, 1933). Mickey the mail pilot battles the elements in his unstable plane in this wonderful sequence of 12 field 2-peghole animation drawings. He faces blizzards, mountainous terrain, and even lightning to deliver his chest of money! This wonderfully detailed sequence can be found starting at about 3:22 when the mouse dives up and down to avoid the snow-capped mountaintops. You can see the smoke trailing from the engine and the icicles stuck to the wings, Mickey's poor plane almost completely frozen. These hand-drawn images range from 3.75'' x 4.75'' to about 5.5'' x 2.25'' with some hints of the mountains added next to the drawings. The pages are noted as 74, 125, and 142 in the lower right corner and 63, 101, and 115 in the upper right. Light age-related toning, minor edge and handling wear, and reinforced pegholes.
