Who Framed Roger Rabbit Roger Rabbit Original Storyboard Group of 2 (Walt Disney/Ambil, 1988). "Why, I'll take care of him like he was my own brother. Or my own sister. Or my brother's sister..." The Maroon Cartoon star Roger Rabbit takes the spotlight in this lot, showing two splendid storyboards from the unforgettable opening cartoon of the animation/live-action film Who Framed Roger Rabbit, "Somethin's Cookin." This joint production between Walt Disney and Amblin Entertainment debuted on June 21, 1988, to critical and commercial success, helping launch the Disney Renaissance. Created in ink and artist marker, these storyboards helped give shape to what we see at approximately the 1:10 timestamp, showing image sizes of about 7.5" x 5.5", numbered 28 and 30 in their respective top right corners. Both storyboards show pinholes in the corners, with storyboard 30 showing a small piece missing from the bottom left area, not affecting the art. Overall, the lot shows very light handling and edge wear from production. In Very Good condition.Auction Info
