Description
SpongeBob SquarePants "Sandy's Rocket" Production Cel (Nickelodeon, 1999). The most famous sponge in animation, SpongeBob SquarePants, is the spotlight with this lot that offers an excellent image of our endearing protagonist from the hilarious episode "Sandy's Rocket." After showing up at Sandy's house, SpongeBob learns that the scientist squirrel is planning a trip to the moon in her new rocket ship. This hand-painted production cel shows SpongeBob as seen at the 0:40 timestamp after our excited yellow protagonist asks Sandy if he can join her in her journey, and just before he shows his disappointment after Sandy turns him down. The 12-field cel, numbered S10 in the bottom right corner, shows the character measuring a figure size of 4" x 4.5" and is presented on a printed copy of the scene's background. Showing minor paint wear on the linework, and minor handling and edge wear from production, the lot is in very good condition.Auction Info
