Description
SpongeBob SquarePants "Sandy's Rocket" SpongeBob and Patrick Production Cel with Key Master Background (Nickelodeon, 1999). From the SpongeBob SquarePants episode "Sandy's Rocket," we have in this lot a marvelous Key Master setup featuring SpongeBob and his friend Patrick sitting inside of Sandy's space ship. Showing up at the 4:17 mark of the episode, the image of this three-layer cel can be seen as our two mischievous characters sneak into Sandy's rocket at night to play around with the advanced controllers. The stunning 13.25" x 9.75" Key Master background, created in gouache on background board, displays a detailed view of the inside of Sandy's spaceship with two hand-painted overlay layers. The cel and overlays show reinforced pegholes and the peghole area of the Master background is trimmed. The is some paint wear on SpongeBob eyes. With light handling and edge wear from production, the lot is in Good to Very Good condition.Auction Info
