Description
Dragon Ball Z: The World's Strongest Shenron Production Cel with Production Background (Toei Animation, 1990). "You may ask for one wish, and this I will grant you." Since the beginning of the series, the driving force behind many of Goku's adventures has been gathering the dragon balls. These mystical items have the power to summon the mighty Shenron, an ancient dragon capable of granting any wish. At the beginning of the movie Dragon Ball Z: The World's Strongest, we witness how Dr. Kochin conjures Shenron after gathering the dragon balls, and at the 2:49 mark of the film, we are presenting the image of Shenron featured in this lot. The hand-painted 12 field-sized production cel has the wish-granting character measuring a figure size of 10.5" x 6.5", on the two-layer cel numbered C6. The image is featured on a gloomy trimmed production background showing leafless trees and a red sky. The cel shows minor surface scuffing that doesn't affect the art, tape on the top edge, and fading on the linework with both of it's layers adhered together. With light handling wear from production, the lot is in Very Good condition.Auction Info
